Passenger Attempted to Open Exit Door

A Boeing 787 aircraft operated by All Nippon Airways on a Tokyo–Houston flight declared an emergency and diverted to Seattle after a passenger attempted to open the exit doors mid-flight.
The incident occurred on Saturday. The aircraft safely landed at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at approximately 4:19 AM local time.
The individual was subdued by fellow passengers and cabin crew. Port of Seattle police later reported that the passenger was experiencing a medical crisis and was transported to a hospital. After necessary checks were completed, the flight continued to Houston as planned.
